Hicks, Inc. are the hangar floor experts you have been looking for! Today, we’re going to give you an inside look at a project we recently did at Million Air Hangars to highlight our expertise. So, if you are hung up on hangar flooring (we know it’s a huge investment of time and money!) and wondering who to use for that flooring project—look no further. Million Air Hangars

For this specific project, we had three different hangars to deal with—with the space totaling to almost 63,000 square feet! When we start a hangar project (or any flooring project!) we make sure to understand the area—what flooring systems and products will work best in each area. Through the process, we listen to you—your wants and needs, this is to ensure that the end product is perfect for you, while being done correctly by us!

This project was especially fun since we got to remove the existing coatings from the hangars, and pretty much got to start from scratch! Once we were down to the bare concrete, we added an amazing three-coat system—a penetrating epoxy primer, a flexible epoxy build coat, and a polyurethane finish coat. These three coats work together to best serve a hangar floor—tough enough to hold planes, but sleek enough to be aesthetically pleasing!
