Cool Concrete! Make Concrete Work for You!

As we have stated numerous times, industrial flooring is an intimidating world to jump into to understand. Thankfully, we here at T.W. Hicks, Inc. are always here to help you—and today, we are here to talk about concrete flooring and finishes! Concrete flooring can be a great option for your business—it is relatively inexpensive, it is super long-lasting, and it is durable! There are some issues that can come along with concrete, though—like staining and it being slippery when wet. But these issues do not mean you have to replace your concrete flooring—you can take your boring, stained, and possibly slippery concrete and make it better with treatments from T.W. Hicks, Inc.!

A good example of the work we have done with concrete flooring can be seen here—where we transformed a 10,000 square-foot area for West Texas Peterbuilt.

Making the Most of Concrete Flooring!

One of the most popular applications for concrete flooring is an epoxy finish. This finish instantly adds a whole new level of protection on top of your existing concrete floors! You might think concrete is tough and durable, but this adds even more! It is like adding a phone case to your brand new (and allegedly durable...) phone—extra protection is great! When we add an epoxy finish to your concrete flooring, it also creates a glossy look that is pretty cool when compared to boring, dull concrete. We can also add anti-slip options, as well! This top coating also helps protect against stains that can happen on concrete without a topcoat—seriously, this is a great route to go with concrete flooring! Whether you need us to install flooring, or add the finish, T.W. Hicks, Inc. is the place to go!

Did you also know that you can add color to your concrete floor?! Well, you do now! And you can see that we have done this with our past client, West Texas Peterbuilt, and it looks awesome! If you are looking for a new color that is different than regular old concrete, it can be done!
